Anger
Do you feel powerless in the face of your anger? Terrifying to witness in others, and often overwhelming when it erupts in ourselves. Plane rage, queue rage—anger is showing up in ever more unexpected places. Sometimes it arrives with a clear trigger. Other times, it flares from nowhere—sudden, disorienting, hard to contain. There may even be a short-lived sense of liberation in that surge of emotional assertion. Yet as unregulated frustration spills into work or relationships, the emotional fallout can be far-reaching—often cascading into further distress.
At other times, anger builds slowly—almost imperceptibly—gathering pressure like a sealed valve. Once released, the aftermath feels hollow—and often tinged with guilt. You may be left facing the emotional mess: exhaustion, shame, regret. Over time, these repeated surges can wear down both body and mind. However, it doesn’t have to stay this way. Anger isn’t your enemy—it’s a signal. And equipped with the right knowledge and understanding, it becomes easier to recognise, manage, and move through.
